Children

At Cedar Grove Kids, we desire to see children come to know Christ as their personal Savior and seek Him passionately. We desire to see children come to know Christ better by awakening the Word in their hearts and by serving in the community and around the world for God’s glory.

Each week, Cedar Grove Kids offers first through fifth graders a chance to engage in God’s Word through Life Groups and Worship every Sunday.

During Cedar Grove Kids Worship on Sunday mornings, we learn about God by playing games, acting out Bible stories, and talking about God’s Word. We also have live worship with the children where we learn why it is so important to worship God and how children can worship God. We also have a featured country that we learn about every Sunday and we learn how we can serve that country.

For offering on Sundays, the children's department sponsors two children, Johanna from Honduras and Beatrice from Uganda.

The children get to write letters to Johanna and Beatrice and get the incredible responsibility of sending other children to school and providing food for them.

On Wednesday nights our boys and girls attend RA's (Royal Ambassadors) and GA's (Girls in Action). Both are missions based programs that will teach children how they can be actively involved in missions by praying, giving, and serving.

We desire to see your child in a safe environment. To achieve a high level of safety, we ask each volunteer that works with your child to complete a background check. Also, each child must wear a security wristband that has a sequence of numbers that corresponds to the parent’s wristband.

We look forward to worshiping with you at Cedar Grove Kids!
